Just press the "M" Memory Recall button to recall the setting you want. | Very useful for photographers who wear eyeglasses, the long eye-relief finder allows full viewing if the viewfinder up to 22.7 mm and, over the 700si, offers -2.5 to +0.5 dioptres of adjustment. |

Pressing this button cancels all manual adjustments and resets the camera to full auto position. With Program-Reset, you won't have to miss a photo chance. |
In place of the Spot Meter button on the 700si, the new AE Lock button allows you to set the exposure independantly from the selected AF focus point. Can be used with any metering mode. |

The Depth of Field preview button, on the side of the lens mount, stops the lens' aperture down to the current setting, allowing you to judge the depth of focus through the viewfinder, particularly useful in close-up, macro and landscape photography. |
One of the 800si's most predominant features is its powerful built-in flash. With a guide number of up to 20m, it covers lenses from 24 to 80mm and offers a red-eye reduction ability. |
