Aperture Priority Automatic Exposure Control
The X-300 automatically sets the proper shutter speed, steplessly from 1/100 to 4 sec., to correspond with your preselected aperture and to deliver proper exposures under a wide range of conditions.

Automatic Exposure Lock
AE Lock is used in special lighting situations to overcome over or underexposure. Operation is simple, automatic, effective.

Full-Metered Manual Exposure Control
You ca select your own preference in shutter speed and aperture for any desired creative effects.
Viewfinder LED's keep you reminded of both preselcted and camera suggested shutter speeds.

Exposure Monitor Viewfinder
Pertinent exposure data appears alongside the X-300's extra bright, fast focussing viewfinder, keeping you constantly updated while allowing you to fully concentrate upon the subject matter at hand. Bright LEDs are easily read, even in bright sunlight.

Motor Drive 1
Attain up to 3.5 frames per second automatic film advance when you attach the Minolta Motor Drive 1. A sculpted body and grip make camera handling a joy.

Optional Focussing Screens
The standard Acute-Matte focussing screen can be replaced by nay of eight optional Acute-Matte screens at an authorised Minolta service facility.
