700si: Other Features/Names of Parts

When you switch Eye-Start "ON", the AF and AE functions as soon as you bring the camera to your eye. This adds extra speed to the camer's response time.In Focus Priority mode the shutter will not release until the main subject is in focus. In Release Priority the shutter will release even when not in focus, this allows the maximum frame rate to be achieved as long as the shutter-release button is pressed.
The 700si lets you store a selection of foten used camera settings in memory for instant recall when you need them. Once you've made a setting, you can record it in memeory by moving the Memory Switch to the "Enter" setting. Just press the "M" Memeory Recall button to recall the setting you want.Very useful for photographers who wear glasses, the long eye-relief finder allows full viewing if the viewfinder up to 22.7 mm from its protective glass.
Pressing this button cancels all manual adjustments and resets the camera to full auto position. With Program-Reset, you won't have to miss a photo chance. You can activate High speed Rewind mode by pressing the Rewind Button whilst the film is being rewound. Rewind takes only 8 seconds for 24 exposures.
