These pages are meant as a complement to Ben's site by providing a video of one of Jørund's last laps on the Ring. Euan, Francis and I were in the Ring Taxi with Sabine driving, when Jørund passed us doing a huge wheelie while going up Ex-Mühle.

Usually, a Ring weekend ends on Sunday evening. However, this time it ended on Monday morning with Brendan's announcement on the Ringers List that Jørund had crashed on an oil spill, had been airlifted to the hospital but wasn't going to live. He'll always live on in my memory doing that wheelie past the Ring Taxi, so in that respect this weekend will never end.
